Please, please, please pass along this opportunity to your friends, families and networks to see if there is an interest. Speaker Watch:

Imagine a site where we get to submit articles, videos, links, AND — it’s meant for just the meetings industry — bringing together planners and speakers. Speakers can submit links to their articles, videos and other “newsworthy” materials that they would like to share with meeting planners: speakerwatch.info. It’s a social bookmarking site like Digg, except this is specifically for use by meeting planners and speakers. Totally no-cost, and a great way to build buzz about yourself. It is the brainchild of Shawn Ellis of The Speakers Group.

Free Reiki:

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

I’d like to give back to the community by giving one free Reiki session per month to someone who needs it but cannot afford it. (Yes, I’m still offering ½ off your first session. Cost of a first time session is $35 for a 45-minutes or $45 for 60 minutes.) So if you know of anyone who fits this criteria, just call me 770-339-1339 or 678-982-1590 or email https://webmailcluster.perfora.net/xml/webmail/mailDetail;jsessionid=C4888A58355898D40A42BFF1E809E28C.TC137b?__frame=_top&__lf=AdresseUebernehmenFlow&__sendingdata=1&resyncFolder.Doit=true&resyncFolder.TreeID=leftNaviTree&createMail.Action=create&createMail.To=debbiebarker1@hotmail.com&__jumptopage=mailNew&__CMD%5bmailDetail%5d:SELWRP=resyncFolder&__CMD%5bmailDetail%5d:SELWRP=createMail to let me know. The first person, who gets to me, will be the one I pick.

New Day:

A poem by Thomas Kirkpatrick

New day, a new you
can’t have a new day without a new view
most of the time a change is just a change in attitude
cant get over the old if you keep looking in the rearview
make your daily resolution to be an inner change in you,
and the rest will fall into place, the words I speak are true
most people aren’t happy with their body, money and needs
so all of them say " I’m going to change this new years eve"
they all talk about the lives, they SAY they want to lead.
People rolling eyes thinking "that’s not happening"
they know its usually talk, each other they don’t believe
but dedicate your change to God and then you will see..

no more drinking, drugs, or whatever the case may becould be
lying, cursing, stealing or maybe infidelity
or maybe just getting closer to the almighty G-O-D
or maybe getting over your biggest enemy
no its not Satan or a person you may hate to see
“My Enemy” abbreviated is simply... M-E

get over you, get under God and all things will come to pass
and unlike that work out resolution, his change will always last....

4) 46% of students in Atlanta's urban communities alone dropped out of high school in 2008. (EPE Research Center, 2008)

About WOE Enterprise

A few years ago my life hit rock bottom. I looked into the bible and I saw the word woe. I also wanted to see how the dictionary defined woe. Woe meant trials or tribulations. In life a woe to you might be a job loss and to another it might be a broken relationship.

One day I was thinking how I could reinvent my life so I wrote down the word woe on a piece of paper. As the document spoke to me it revealed that woe now meant WOE as in Word of Encouragement. From there I received this slogan.

“Before you leave work or go to sleep tonight, give someone a WOE, a Word Of Encouragement.”
