When I started college at Tennessee State University the SGA President was Jeff Carr. I knew he was a leader but did not know how significant of an impact he would make in the lives of others.
Brother Jeff published his own newspaper The Third Eye, a monthly Nashville newspaper with a circulation of 10,000.
I was watching television one night and my wife and I were looking for a movie to see when I saw the advertisement for The Second Chance. When we read the credits for who was in the movie, I said, “honey I went to school with Jeff Carr. I know him. She still thinks I don’t know anyone.

A few years ago my life hit rock bottom. I looked into the bible and I saw the word woe. I also wanted to see how the dictionary defined woe. Woe meant trials or tribulations. In life a woe to you might be a job loss and to another it might be a broken relationship.
One day I was thinking how I could reinvent my life so I wrote down the word woe on a piece of paper. As the document spoke to me it revealed that woe now meant WOE as in Word of Encouragement. From there I received this slogan.
“Before you leave work or go to sleep tonight, give someone a WOE, a Word Of Encouragement.”

1. One of our team members barely puts in any effort when our boss assigns us projects, but he reaps the same rewards because the boss evaluates us as a group instead of individually. One team member suggested creating a chart that could be used to record each person's contribution to the next project, then take it to our boss with any other data or summaries that we would normally turn in. Now, no one has ever actually confronted this guy about his lack of participation, but we've all complained about him behind his back. Slipping a chart to the boss seems underhanded and unfair when we've never even bothered to tell our slacking team mate how we feel. What should I do?

My friend has been trying to find a job since we graduated in May of this year, and she can't seem to understand how I was able to find a job within two weeks - I have great connections - and she hasn't been able to get past the first round interviews in almost six months of trying. I know this company prefers to hire people with more Tigger-like personalities. How can I make her see that she needs to be more positive?
