What Do you Do when Life hands You A Devastating Diagnosis?:

L.J. Holloway was asked this question and she fought back. LJ fought for her life and lives each day to give you a testimony that you should fight for yours. You can buy LJ’s book or audio CD by going to http://www.ljholloway.info or email her at lj@ljholloway.info for insight about how to transform life before life transforms you.

$23 an Hour:

I called a company back this week to let them know that I would not be interviewing for their position. The representative was in shock as she said “you going to turn down a position making $23 an hour.”

We position ourselves out of the game when we only focus on the hour. Take the number you make an hour and times that by 10. That is a number we should strive to make an hour. Now multiply that number by 8 and that is your daily rate. Multiply that number by 5 and that is your weekly rate. Multiply that number by 52 and that will give you a yearly rate.

Congratulations If you are making this amount already. If not, use this as a guide for what you can accomplish.

About WOE Enterprise

A few years ago my life hit rock bottom. I looked into the bible and I saw the word woe. I also wanted to see how the dictionary defined woe. Woe meant trials or tribulations. In life a woe to you might be a job loss and to another it might be a broken relationship.

One day I was thinking how I could reinvent my life so I wrote down the word woe on a piece of paper. As the document spoke to me it revealed that woe now meant WOE as in Word of Encouragement. From there I received this slogan.

“Before you leave work or go to sleep tonight, give someone a WOE, a Word Of Encouragement.”

Devastating Diagnosis?

What would you DO if Life handed YOU a Devastating Diagnosis?Local Author pens book motivated by personal story

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, (May 8, 2009)

NEW YORK,NY –Author L.J. Holloway to appear on Tough Talk too with Dr. Dale Anthony on WTHE 1520 on the AM Dial today at 10:30 or listen on the WEB at www.WTHE1520AM.com
What to Do When Life Hands You a Devastating Diagnosis (Do’s, Don’ts & Some Uncanny Observations) gives readers’ real-life advice on what to do and what not to do when a life changing medical diagnoses is suddenly thrust upon you or a loved one.

A self-described Health CARE Advocate, L.J. Holloway says she wrote “What to Do When Life Hands You a Devastating Diagnosis (Do’s, Don’ts & Some Uncanny Observations) because she “thought it was important for families and physicians alike to know that the psychological effects of a Diagnosis are more damning than the daunting of the physical. Moreover, Holloway wanted patients to know that they were empowered.”
LJ’s Tips
· DO independent research and ask pointed questions about your Diagnosis
· Don’t be a spectator, partner with your Physician, YOU know your body best
· DO solicit someone to serve as a Health Care Advocate (it’s hard to focus in a fight)
· Don’t discount your HEALTH invest in a Health Savings Account and/or a PPO
· Uncanny Observation: Life happens, so continue to LIVE despite the diagnosis!

U.S. Congresswoman Carrie P. Meek (RET.) and former Board member of the Lupus Foundation of America remarked – “LJ Holloway plows through trauma and Health Care drama with sincere messages of advice, wisdom and humor. It’s a MUST read for everyone.”

LJ Holloway is participating in Jacksonville ‘s Art Walk in front of the Booktique inside the Jacksonville Public Library tomorrow from 5pm to 9pm.

For more information on LJ Holloway and What to Do When Life Hands You a Devastating Diagnosis, visit www.LJHolloway.info

*Note: All proceeds from the sale of the audio book will be donated to a non-profit that awards 3 Scholarships to local students who major in health or medical sciences at institutions where those disciplines are under-represented.

The WORD (Wisdom-Others-Resources-Development)

Monday May 4th, 2009 Issue # 61

In 2008 my first national article was published in Next Step Magazine and one of the readers was Marshay Calloway. Ms. Calloway is now a High School Junior and has been accepted to attend Stanford University’s High School Summer College. Summer College is from June 20 - August 16, 2009.

Marshay Calloway needs assistance to help her dreams come true. Help her if you can by copying and pasting her story and sending to others that can. Here is her story in her own words.

I want to graduate with at least a 4.0 or higher and go to Yale or Stanford. I wish to major in Developmental Psychology with emphasis in cognitive science. After about five or six years working as a Doctor of Psychology, I want to take my experience and go into the forensics and eventually become a Forensic Scientist. Also, I would like to minor in journalism with the option of creative writing. I need $7,200 so that I can enroll in the Stanford high school college program. I received a $3,000 scholarship from Stanford University, however it is only a partial scholarship and I cannot afford the remaining amount. The total cost of attendance is $10,200. If you can help in anyway, please let me know. I can be contacted via email or telephone. (760) 552-0154 cell or email marshaycalloway@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance and your consideration is appreciated.

L.J. Holloway sent me a copy of her Audio Book entitled “What to Do when Life hands you a Devastating Diagnosis.” The proceeds from this testimony triumph benefit an Annual Scholarship awarded to (3) students at the Celebration of Life benefit Concert. You can book L.J. Holloway to speak or order your copy of this sister’s soul stirring story by going to www.LJHolloway.Info.

Skylr Monaghan of http://DiggerDaily.com sent me an article called “What Do You Like To Do Most In Life?” that you can read on my blog at www.BusinessInCollege.com.

Do you remember me telling you about the Gift Bag Requests? Even if you forgot you need to add your gift to the bags at major events all across this country.
